Call for Submissions – EMRTM Expo

We are seeking 30 paintings for exhibition in a restaurant setting (calm, pleasant atmosphere). All mediums welcome. Entry is free.

Location: École des métiers du tourisme et de la restauration de Montréal, 1822 de Maisonneuve West Submission deadline: July 31, 2026

Size requirements (only): 16”x20” or 24”x36”Price range:

• 16”x20”: $400–$1200

• 24”x36”: $800–$2400

Artists may submit multiple works, but only one will be selected per artist. Notification of selected works by Aug 7, 2026.

Please email submissions (title, medium, dimensions in inches, price) to artistsinmontreal@gmail.com with subject line: “appel de dossier emttr”.

Drop-off: Aug 17, 2026 (9 AM–12 PM)Pick-up: Jan 4, 2027 (9 AM–12 PM)

Works must be ready for hanging (framed canvas, gallery canvas, or framed paper with glass). No storage available—please only submit if you can meet drop-off/pick-up times.

No official vernissage, but an informal evening gathering for artists and their families will be organized.

Vernissage: Thursday, June 11 (5pm-7pm) with the Awards Ceremony at 6:15pm

Opening Hours: June 10 (10am-7pm) - June 11 (10am-9pm) - June 12 (10am-9pm)

June 13 (10am-6pm).

We expect to see over 500 visitors to this four day event, especially since it is being held during the Montreal Mural Festival on St. Laurent Blvd. Hope to see you there!

This Workshop is designed for artists who want to explore contemporary watercolor painting techniques. We will focus on expression rather than control, working with flow, transparency, and bold, intuitive solutions.Watercolor will become not just a tool, but a collaborator.

Location: Peter W. Hart Galerie / 49a Donegani / Pointe Claire, QC. Plenty of Parking in this strip mall. If you don't know how to get there by metro/bus, you can meet us at the Lionel Groulx metro, and we would go there together by bus. About 35 minutes.
