As an artist, I am driven by a deep desire to explore and express the intricate complexities of the human experience. Through my work, I aim to create a visual language that connects with viewers on an emotional level, inviting them to reflect, question, and engage with the world around them.

Drawing inspiration from the schools of abstract expressionism and action painting, I am fascinated by the interplay of light, colour, and texture. By manipulating these elements, I strive to capture the essence of a moment, or a feeling.

Through my chosen mediums of Painting and Printmaking I aim to convey a sense of depth and movement, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the layers and textures of my artwork.

Conceptually, I am interested in exploring my devotion to expanding my visual horizons. By manipulating the elements of texture, transparency, colour and composition, I strive to capture the essence of a moment, a sensation or a feeling.

My goal as a visual artist is to foster a dialogue between the artwork and the viewer, creating a connection that goes beyond the surface by exposing a small glimpse of my internal, private experience of navigating through the rocky shores of mental health issues.

Art has a powerful ability to transcend language and cultural boundaries. I hope to inspire, provoke, and ignite a sense of curiosity and wonder through my work.

En tant qu’artiste, je suis animée par un profond désir d’explorer et d’exprimer les subtilités de l’expérience humaine. En tant qu’artiste plasticienne, mon objectif est de favoriser un dialogue entre l’œuvre et le spectateur, en créant un lien qui va au-delà de l’apparence, en dévoilant un petit aperçu de mon expérience intérieure et intime, celle d’une navigation à travers les rivages escarpés des troubles de santé mentale.

L’art possède une puissante capacité à transcender les barrières linguistiques et culturelles. J’espère, à travers mon travail, inspirer, provoquer et susciter un sentiment de curiosité et d’émerveillement.
