L’émoi éprouvé aux expositions des Impatients me mène à la peinture alors que j’ai la jeune cinquantaine.  Je me joins à l’Atelier du geste, près de 14 ans à peindre en toute liberté sous la direction d’Andrée Bonard. Le tout complété par diverses formations, dont l’aquarelle aux Ateliers Carol Bernier ainsi que des notions en dessin. Depuis 2013, j’ai participé à six expositions collectives à l’Atelier du geste, et une à la galerie Espace.

Je peins pour le plaisir, j’aime explorer et m’émerveiller de constantes découvertes. Peindre est comme une méditation, cela me procure un grand bien être, c’est devenu une passion. Je peux alors exprimer diverses facettes de ma personnalité, l’inconscient l’emporte souvent sur le conscient, comme si le pinceau était mu par une force invisible.

The excitement I experienced at the Impatients exhibitions led me to painting in my early fifties. I joined the Atelier du Geste, and spent nearly 14 years painting freely under the guidance of Andrée Bonard. This was complemented by various training courses, including watercolour at Ateliers Carol Bernier, as well as drawing notions. Since 2013, I've taken part in six group exhibitions at Atelier du Geste, and one at Galerie Espace.

I paint for pleasure, I like to explore and marvel at constant discoveries. Painting is like a meditation, it gives me a great sense of well-being, it's become a passion. I can then express various facets of my personality, the unconscious often prevailing over the conscious, as if the brush were moved by an invisible force.
