I paint to express the energy of transformation, the hope inherent in the cyclical nature of everything, and the constant movement generated by the endless recurrence of these cycles.

In doing this, I learned that the story told by the landscape is my story too. In nature, I am the witness. The landscape surrounds me, but it also reaches in to connect to the part of me that belongs here. Being in nature restores my sense of belonging in this place, at this time. No matter where I am in the natural world, I can find that thread to my inner landscape.

Je peins pour exprimer l'énergie de la transformation, l'espoir inhérent à la nature cyclique de toute chose, et le mouvement constant généré par la récurrence sans fin de ces cycles.

En faisant cela, j'ai appris que l'histoire racontée par le paysage est aussi mon histoire. Dans la nature, je suis le témoin. Le paysage m'entoure, mais il se rapproche aussi de la partie de moi qui appartient à cet endroit. Être dans la nature me redonne le sentiment d'appartenir à ce lieu, à ce moment. Où que je me trouve dans le monde naturel, je peux trouver ce fil conducteur vers mon paysage intérieur.
