I am a Czech-Canadian artist, with an interest in self-portraiture and colour theory. My art has always been a means of understanding myself and the world around me. It engages with my subjectivity, conditioned by society and life but unique to my processing, living with a personality disorder that inhibits the development of a stable identity. I explore my interests, history, heritage, and self-perception through my relentless production of self-representation, in an attempt to get a foothold between my ipseity and diagnosis. My art tracks my shifting subjectivity impacted by ever-changing contemporary life; I am perceiving a new moment in history, where the past has created me, but the modern-day still molds me.

Je suis une artiste tchéco-canadienne qui s'intéresse à l'autoportrait et à la théorie des couleurs. Mon art a toujours été un moyen de me comprendre et de comprendre le monde qui m'entoure. Il traite de ma subjectivité, conditionnée par la société et la vie, mais unique à mon traitement, vivant avec un trouble de la personnalité qui empêche le développement d'une identité stable. J'explore mes intérêts, mon histoire, mon héritage et la perception que j'ai de moi-même à travers ma production incessante d'autoreprésentation, dans une tentative de prendre pied entre mon identité et le diagnostic. Mon art suit l'évolution de ma subjectivité, influencée par une vie contemporaine en constante mutation ; je perçois un nouveau moment de l'histoire, où le passé m'a créé, mais où l'époque moderne continue de me façonner.
