***

My current work focuses on transmission and legacy. I paint based on personal photographs, fragmented memories, and royalty-free images that I collect and then reassemble. Through a meticulous painting practice, I strive to transform detail into a space of memory. To me, the skin embodies both family heritage and the traces of lived experience: painting the skin is also painting what a person has received and passed on.

I also incorporate embroidery into the pictorial surface, drawing inspiration from the floral and botanical motifs of traditional Breton embroidery—a region where I am from. The thread extends the painterly gesture: it connects, repairs, highlights, or traverses the image, thereby evoking the invisible familial, emotional, and cultural bonds between generations. The embroidery thus adds an additional paradox to my work: the caress of the brush on one hand, the prick of the needle on the other. Through my paintings, I explore how individual stories become part of a collective memory—navigating what is passed down, transformed, and erased.
