My work mainly consists of acrylic painting and drawing. I am drawn to and inspired by the incorporeal such as sensations, visions, memories, nightmares or dreams. The work I have produced recently intends to scrutinize and question the polarity in the self. I create art to unravel the intangible elements of the mind.

ARTIST STATEMENT - Déclaration de l'artiste
After many years of painting first in oil and later in acrylic, I have turned to abstract painting. There is pure joy in using a brush or other tools and with just colours in mind, begin a painting. I follow my colour inspiration to develop each art work.

Après de nombreuses années de peinture d'abord à l'huile puis à l'acrylique, je me suis tournée vers la peinture abstraite. C'est un pur plaisir d'utiliser un pinceau ou d'autres outils et avec juste des couleurs à l'esprit, de commencer une peinture. Quant à la couleur pour chaque oeuvre je me fie à ce qui m'inspire.
